Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) Consultant to join our team and support the design, implementation, customization, and maintenance of SAP ERP solutions.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP ECC modules (such as MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, or HCM), strong integration knowledge across business functions, and proven experience delivering large-scale ERP projects.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical experts to ensure SAP ECC aligns with organizational goals and optimizes business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver SAP ECC implementation, enhancement, and upgrade projects.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective SAP ECC solutions.
- Configure relevant SAP ECC modules to meet business needs (MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, HCM, etc.).
- Integrate SAP ECC with other SAP products (e.g., SAP BW, SAP CRM, SAP APO) and third-party systems.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments (ABAP) and coordinate with technical teams.
- Conduct system testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance).
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and system optimization.
- Stay updated on SAP best practices, patches, and enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 6–12 years of SAP ECC functional experience, including at least 2–3 full life cycle implementations.
- Module Expertise: In-depth knowledge of at least one SAP ECC core module (MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, or HCM).
- Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP cross-module processes and integration points.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to work with ABAP developers on custom objects, reports, and enhancements.
- Methodologies: Experience with ASAP, Activate, or other SAP implementation methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (SAP certification preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori and modern UX integration with ECC.
- Knowledge of IDoc, ALE, and EDI integration scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager for change management and monitoring.
